This bejeweled mess of a thing is an optical delight. Direct sun will toss little rainbows throughout the room via all the beveled pieces of glass (they are not true prisms and wont make a vibrant rainbow like the water prisms do). Even when its not in the sun the distortion through the glass is captivating. The way that we are naturally googly-eyed over sparkly things reminds me of the power of awe, and how we all innately share this feeling.
